Field Trip - 10 AM Planetarium Show

Flandrau gives your class a chance to explore the marvels of our universe—from the depths of the ocean to the farthest reaches of space, and everything in between! Located on the mall of The University of Arizona campus. You’ll have the option to see an amazing full-dome show in the planetarium theater. You’ll feel like you’re flying through space as you launch from the earth and visit planets, moons, stars and asteroids. Flandrau’s shows and experiences are designed to connect with school groups and are geared to Arizona State Science Standards.


Would you like to visit the Science Center Exhibits during your visit? Register for an exhibit time prior to completing your registration by selecting "Register for Another Event" button. 


Group Requirements

  • Maximum size is 75 per visit time. Have a larger group? Add an additional visit time by selecting "Register for Another Event"  button prior to submitting your registration. 
  • One adult chaperone is required for every ten children 

Planetarium Show Group Visit Rates

  • Standard Planetarium Show Rate: $60 (includes up to 10 participants), $6 for each additional participant 
  • Non-Profit Organization Plantarium Show Rate:  $50 (includes up to 10 participants), $5 for each additional participant 
  • K-12/Youth Organization Planetarium Show Rate: $40 (Includes up to 10 participants), $4 for each additional participant
  • Title I K-12 Planetarium Show Rate: $30 (Includes up to 10 participant), $3 for each additional participant

Payment in full due at check-in. Cancellations must be received by email at Flandrau@arizona.edu, at least 3-weeks prior to your scheduled visit date. Cancellations received with less than a 3-week notice will be billed for the base rate for your group type. The option to reschedule is dependent on availability.
